New Investigator Forum – Starting your Research?

Students or recent graduates…
do you have a peer review research project either about to begin, or minimally in progress (but not finished)?  It’s time to start thinking about applying to take part in the New Investigator’s Research Forum on Saturday, May 30th at the JOINT MEETING:

44th Annual Symposium: Care of the Professional Voice
Chairman – Robert T. Sataloff
International Association of Phonosurgery
President – Michael S. Benninger

May 26  – May 31, 2015 * Philadelphia Westin

A “new” investigator may be a doctoral student or a recent doctoral-level graduate.

Christopher R. Watts, Ph.D., Professor  & Chair of the Dept. of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Texas Christian University has to say about the New Investigators Research Forum:

“The opportunity to speak with and obtain feedback from so many leaders in voice science was incredibly beneficial for me. The feedback I was able to receive informed the path of my research and also taught me significant elements of design specific to voice study.  An added benefit was the networking opportunity that the forum facilitated. Over the years I have stayed in touch with a number of the panel members who have continued to be available for advice related to my scholarly endeavors.”
