
PAVA-Voice Foundation
Collaborative Vocology Outreach Award

The Pan American Vocology Association (PAVA) and The Voice Foundation are proud to announce the Collaborative Vocology Outreach Award, a joint initiative designed to support collaborative outreach projects that promote vocal health and development in communities. This prestigious award encourages interdisciplinary collaboration among voice professionals, including choral directors, performers, scientists, healthcare practitioners, and teachers.
Award Purpose
This award supports outreach initiatives involving singing, theatre, public speaking, or other voice-related endeavors to foster well-being and vocal development. The aim is to create meaningful community impact through voice-related projects.
Award Details
- One proposal will be awarded annually.
- Maximum funding of $2,000.
- A detailed budget with justification is required.
- Funds may be used for project-related expenses, excluding proponent salaries and computer purchases.
- Projects must be completed within one year.
- Award recipients will present outcomes at PAVA or Voice Foundation Symposia on a rotating basis.
- Presenters will receive waived registration fees for the symposium.
- Publications resulting from the project should be submitted for consideration in the Journal of Voice.
Eligibility
- Proponents must represent at least two disciplines relevant to PAVA and The Voice Foundation.
- At least 50% of the team must be members of either PAVA or The Voice Foundation at the time of application.
- The project must be feasible within the timeframe and funding limits.
- By symposium registration, all team members must be members of either PAVA or The Voice Foundation.

- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- No feedback or formal review of proposals will be provided.
