Introduction
This international workshop is designed to present and to share state of the art information on voice of interest to otolaryngologists, speech pathologists and scientists. The workshop covers physiology to phonosurgery, from the molecule of elastin to the voice handicap index, from the embryology to the adult vocal fold, from the polyp of the vocal fold to the spasmodic dysphonia. The delegates will improve their basics, and the limits that phonosurgery and speech therapy could reach from the faculty experience. Furthermore the innovation session will bring the cutting edge in laryngology and what we could expect from the future in our field. The major topics are this year : Benign lesions of the vocal folds, Neurolaryngology, Papilloma and Pediatric laryngeal diseases. The innovative session: “the cutting edge in laryngology and voice science” will address recent research findings for the clinical practice on robotic, laryngeal stenosis, clinical findings on stroboscopy and new imaging technology.
